The regional stage of the "Universiade-2025" wrestling competition was held in the Namangan region.

The regional stage of the "Universiade-2024" sports competition in the Kurash type was held among students and youth from all higher educational institutions in the Namangan region.

A total of 150 students from 8 higher educational institutions in our region participated in this prestigious competition.

Students from Namangan State University also participated in the competition, taking 1st place in 7 weight categories and advancing to the republican stage.
