The Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation of Namangan State University, Abdugaffor Nazarov, held a meeting with researchers and scientists working at the faculties of Physics and Mathematics, Natural Sciences, and Biotechnology.

During the meeting, the participants comprehensively discussed the relevance of ongoing research activities in the region, ways to enhance their practical significance, and issues related to improving the efficiency of scientific work.

In particular, the necessity of shaping research topics based on the existing socio-economic challenges of Namangan region, industrial needs, and the demands of the real sector was emphasized.

Special attention was also given to establishing mutually beneficial cooperation with major enterprises and organizations in the region, as well as with farming entities, implementing scientific developments into practice, and carrying out research projects on a contractual basis.

The meeting also put forward proposals and initiatives aimed at the commercialization of research results, the introduction of innovative developments into production, and the support of young scientists.
