A spiritual and educational event dedicated to the 690th anniversary of the birth of the great statesman and military commander Amir Temur was held at Namangan State University.

The event was actively attended by faculty members, students, and field specialists. During the meeting, participants exchanged views on Sahibqiran’s rich historical legacy, his outstanding leadership in state governance, and his unique experience in military strategy.

It was emphasized that Amir Temur holds a significant place in the history of national statehood not only as a great commander but also as the founder of a powerful centralized state. His efforts led to the flourishing of science, culture, and construction, laying the foundation for the period known in history as the Temuriylar Renessansi.

It was also noted that during the former totalitarian regime, the image of Sahibqiran was unjustly criticized and interpreted one-sidedly. During the years of independence, historical justice was restored, and the honorable name and rich legacy of Amir Temur were rightfully returned to the people.

At the conclusion of the event, it was highlighted that the image of Sahibqiran today serves as a symbol of national statehood and remains an important spiritual source in fostering patriotism among the younger generation, strengthening national identity, and preserving cultural values.
