An open class session titled “The Dark Side of Artificial Intelligence” (“Sun’iy intellektning zulmatli tomoni”) was conducted among the students of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Natural Sciences of Namangan State University.
The session was organized with the aim of strengthening economic knowledge among the younger generation, fostering an uncompromising attitude towards financial offenses and the shadow economy, promoting integrity and a healthy worldview, as well as ensuring financial security and preventing cases of financial fraud through the use of artificial intelligence technologies.
The event was held based on presentation materials prepared in Uzbek and Russian by the Department for Combating Economic Crimes of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Law Enforcement Academy.
During the session, students were provided with comprehensive information on both the benefits of artificial intelligence technologies and the risks associated with their misuse for illegal purposes, including financial fraud schemes and cybercrimes, along with measures for their prevention. Special emphasis was placed on enhancing financial literacy and fostering a culture of financial security among young people.
