Sports competitions were organized at a high level at Namangan State University within the framework of the “Students’ Spring” festival among students of higher educational institutions across the region in connection with Youth Day.

The competitions were held in table tennis, volleyball, and mini-football. Talented and sports-loving students from higher educational institutions of the region actively participated in the event.

The opening ceremony was attended by the First Vice-Rector of Namangan State University, Islomjon Odilov, Deputy Head of the Regional Sports Department, Fakhriddin Yunusov, Executive Director of the Namangan Regional Branch of the National Olympic Committee, Azamjon Akhmadaliyev, as well as other officials. In their speeches, they particularly emphasized the ongoing efforts aimed at encouraging young people to engage in sports, promoting a healthy lifestyle, and developing mass sports activities.

During the competitions, intense and uncompromising matches took place between the teams. Each participant demonstrated their full potential in pursuit of victory, which created a special atmosphere and strong sporting spirit throughout the event.

According to the final results, the strongest teams and athletes were determined and duly awarded by the organizers.

These competitions play an important role in organizing meaningful leisure activities for young people, encouraging them to participate in physical activities, and fostering a healthy and well-rounded generation.
