At the initiative of the Rector of Namangan State University, Abdugaffor Kirgizboyev, a meeting was organized with the directors of general secondary schools of Kosonsoy district in the assembly hall of School No. 35. The event was aimed at further increasing the enrollment of graduating students in higher education institutions and widely promoting the university's activities and existing academic programs.
During the meeting, detailed information was provided about the modern facilities created at the university, the quality of education, international cooperation, opportunities available for students, as well as the admission quotas allocated for the 2026/2027 academic year for full-time, evening, and distance learning programs in both Uzbek- and Russian-language groups. In addition, comprehensive discussions were held regarding the reforms and innovations being implemented at the university.
“There are many talented and ambitious young people in Kosonsoy District. We will continue strengthening cooperation between schools and the university to ensure that young people receive quality education and grow into highly qualified specialists in the future,” said Abdugaffor Kirgizboyev.
Furthermore, within the framework of promotional activities, open dialogues were organized in 56 educational institutions of the district with the participation of 3,207 graduating students. It was especially noted that more than 550 graduates possess national and international certificates confirming their proficiency in general education subjects. This demonstrates the strong academic potential of the youth in the region and their high aspirations for higher education.
During the meetings, participants exchanged views on students’ future career choices, preparation processes for higher education, and the reforms being implemented at the university. The open dialogues were held in a sincere, constructive, and highly engaging atmosphere enriched with active question-and-answer sessions.
