In order to expand the enrollment of graduating students into higher education institutions and to strengthen cooperation between general secondary schools and universities, Namangan State University, in collaboration with the regional Department of Preschool and School Education, organized large-scale outreach and promotional events in Uchqo‘rg‘on district.
As part of the events, a meeting with school principals was held at School No. 40. The meeting was attended by the Rector of the university Abdug‘affor Qirg‘izboyev, Deputy Head of the regional Department of Preschool and School Education Xayrullo Abdurahmonov, Head of the Uchqo‘rg‘on District Education Department Toshpo‘lat Jo‘raxo‘jayev, as well as school principals of the district.
During the meeting, discussions were held on ongoing reforms in the education system, recognition of teachers’ work, development of modern educational infrastructure, upbringing of the younger generation as knowledgeable and patriotic individuals, as well as strengthening cooperation between schools and higher education institutions, increasing the enrollment of graduates into higher education, and guiding them toward science and professions.
Abdug‘affor Qirg‘izboyev provided detailed information about the modern conditions created at the university, the quality of education, international cooperation, student opportunities, as well as admission quotas for the 2026/2027 academic year in full-time, evening, and distance learning programs for both Uzbek and Russian groups.
Within the outreach activities, open dialogues were organized with the participation of about 2,400 graduating students from 46 educational institutions in the district. It was noted that around 600 graduates hold national and international certificates.
During the meetings, opinions were exchanged regarding students’ career choices, preparation for university admission, and ongoing reforms at the university.
