Sports Competitions Held in Yangiqo‘rg‘on District as Part of the "Travel to Chust and Yangiqo‘rg‘on!" Student and Youth Festival

Sports competitions were held in Yangiqo‘rg‘on District as part of the "Travel to Chust and Yangiqo‘rg‘on!" Student and Youth Festival to ensure the implementation of the tasks set out in the Roadmap approved by the Resolution of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PQ-220 dated June 11, 2026, as well as the instructions contained in Letter No. 05/15-2238 of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation dated June 24, 2026.

The festival was jointly organized by Namangan State University, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and the Yangiqo‘rg‘on District Hokimiyat. Within the framework of the event, competitions in mini-football, volleyball, table tennis, chess, and checkers were organized. The event aimed to provide meaningful leisure opportunities for students and young people, promote a healthy lifestyle, encourage participation in physical education and sports, and further strengthen friendship and cooperation between university students and the youth of the district.

Teams representing Namangan State University, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, and active young people from Yangiqo‘rg‘on District took part in the competitions. Throughout the tournament, participants demonstrated strong teamwork, athletic excellence, and the spirit of fair competition, thereby making a valuable contribution to achieving the festival's goals and objectives.
