A ceremonial diploma awarding event was held at Namangan State University for graduates who successfully completed their bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.
The event brought together bachelor’s and master’s graduates, their parents, professors, teachers, and representatives of the wider community.
The ceremony was opened by the Rector of the university, Abdug‘affor Qirg‘izboyev, who congratulated the graduates and wished them great achievements, prosperity, and success in their future careers.
In addition, Deputy Governor of Namangan Region Otabek Bozorov and Deputy Prosecutor of Namangan Region Sanjarbek Ismoilov addressed the audience and extended their sincere congratulations to the graduates on embarking upon a new stage of life. In their speeches, they emphasized the important role of young professionals in the development of the country, the progress of society, and the construction of New Uzbekistan, while wishing the graduates every success in their future endeavors.
Following the speeches, diplomas were ceremonially presented to the bachelor’s and master’s graduates. Commemorative gifts and certificates of appreciation were awarded to students who had achieved outstanding results in science, education, culture, sports, and other fields, as well as to winners of national and international competitions, academic olympiads, and university contests.
For reference, in the 2025/2026 academic year, 1,926 students graduated from full-time bachelor’s programs, 2,380 students completed part-time programs, and 333 students graduated from evening programs. In addition, 159 students successfully completed their master’s degree studies.
The celebration continued with musical performances by professors and students of the Faculty of Arts and Sports. The songs and melodies performed during the event created a festive atmosphere and left unforgettable memories for the graduates and guests alike.
