Life in Namangan changes radically

For this, we must seriously start the implementation of the tasks set by the head of our country!

Namangan is a region with wide opportunities compared to other regions. We have a lot of wet and fertile land. Our people are also hardworking, entrepreneurs, artisans. With their hard work and dedication, life is changing in Namangan. In the past 7 years, the region's economy has doubled, exports have grown three times, and per capita income has reached 15.5 million soums. 600,000 jobs were created at the expense of 65 trillion soums of investment.

At this time, it is time to take new steps to use these opportunities more effectively, to use the opportunities and privileges created by our government, and to increase responsibility in every field.

During the visit of the head of state to our region on March 25-26 of this year, a number of areas were analyzed on the basis of the same evidence and extremely urgent tasks were determined. At the same time, specific tasks were set for the full use of existing potential and opportunities in Namangan.

In particular, the President pointed out the need for officials to work closely with every enterprise, businessman and household. In the case of Saykhunabad, 56 neighborhoods in Uychi district were tasked with creating a model for turning 60-70 million soums of income from real estate into an area free of unemployment and poverty.

This is a great opportunity and attention. We are witnessing that some households and neighborhoods are making good use of every square inch of land, and are able to reap crops from the land several times a season. Most neighborhoods have managed to turn agriculture into their driver. However, it is also said that it is not enough compared to the opportunities created today. There is no doubt that the instruction of the head of our state to allocate enough loans to 35,000 households to support the cultivation of flowers, greenhouses, fisheries, beekeeping, livestock, grapes, strawberries, and potatoes will serve to improve the well-being of thousands of families.

During the visit, the head of state discussed the issues of improving the infrastructure of the city and neighborhood, and noted the need to expand housing construction in the densely populated Namangan region.

It is known that two years ago, the construction of the city of "Yangi Namangan" for 200,000 inhabitants on 1,203 hectares began. At the current stage, the construction of 20,000 apartments, an IT park, a hotel, a business center, as well as the "New Uzbekistan Park" will begin on 68 hectares. Also, the construction of "New Uzbekistan" massifs for 10,000 residents will be started in Chust and Pop districts.

This is the case for Namangan, whose population is growing rapidly and is among the millionth cities. Creativity provides many young people and young families not only with work, but also with housing.

Now the tourism sector is also developing in our region. The President said that in order to sharply increase the flow of domestic and foreign tourists, it is necessary to fully utilize the opportunities in the field of transport. The Ministry of Transport was instructed to double the number of air and railway flights on holidays, revise the schedule of flights to Namangan or Fergana, and increase daily flights to the valley. In order to develop domestic tourism, it was noted that railway flights connecting Namangan with Bukhara and Samarkand, daily express passenger train services on the route "Namangan-Pop-Chodak" will be launched.

The tasks defined in this regard must be fully implemented. In this process, the task of training sufficient specialists for the tourism sector will arise.

At the meeting held by the President, it was noted that there are 6 state and 3 private universities in the region. Among them, the 71 fields of study at the Namangan University, which is the leader, will be reduced to 56 and will be fully supplied with new literature. Curriculum will be updated to improve the quality of education, said the head of state.

Based on the tasks indicated today, Namangan State University has determined certain measures. Initial steps have been taken to improve the quality of education and training of personnel in a number of areas such as technology, biotechnology, soil science, water resources, and tourism. At the moment, the university is reviewing the classification of educational fields, qualification requirements, and preparing additional proposals.

In addition, during the visit, 16 specialized medical centers in the region are scattered in 6 districts and cities, as a result, patients wander from one hospital to another, spending extra money and time, so these 16 centers have 3,500 beds. The establishment of 2 first and second Namangan medical centers was noted. In this way, emergency and other medical services, diagnostic tests, and narrow field specialists will be brought together, and it will be possible to provide round-the-clock service to the population. It is planned to launch a modern hemodialysis center in the city of Namangan in cooperation with Austria.

It was also noted the importance of full medical and social rehabilitation of the population whose active life is limited due to complications of heart attack and stroke in our country. It was instructed to organize work in this regard on the basis of an integrated system. In this regard, officials were instructed to create a unified national system for rehabilitation after stroke and surgery, to promote healthy living and proper nutrition on television and radio.

It is known that these tasks are also related to our activities. Currently, the university is training medical workers in several directions, and the performance of the above tasks requires the training of mature personnel in the field of medicine. Currently, in order to further strengthen the theoretical knowledge of the students studying in these fields at the university, to provide more opportunities for practical training in medical institutions of the region, to increase the number of laboratory equipment, and to involve qualified medical personnel in the educational process. is being conducted.

These are just some of the analyzes and tasks during the visit of the head of our state. The thoughts, proposals, assignments mentioned by our President are actually a solid foundation laid for today, tomorrow and the future of Namangan region. If each of us conscientiously approaches our task and works diligently, we will fully achieve our goals and successes.

First vice-rector of Namangan State University, doctor of political sciences.
