From October 15, 2020, the Department of Physics Teaching Methodology separated from the Department of Physics as a separate independent department. Currently, the department has one candidate of pedagogical sciences, associate professor, two Ph.-M.F. Doctor of Philosophy, PhD, one senior teacher, two teachers work. The scientific competence of the department is 50%.
The department does not train specialists independently, but as an assistant to the physics department in the preparation of specialties 60530900- physics, 5A140201 - Physics (by directions), 5A140204- Physics of renewable energy sources and sustainable environment, 5A140205 - Physics of semiconductors will help.
The Department of Physics Teaching Methodology has established close cooperation relations with the Tashkent City Technical Institute of Physics, the Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Uzbekistan FA, the Department of Public Education of the Namangan Region, and the 1st Academic Lyceum under NamDU.
The scientific researches of the Department of Physics Teaching Methodology are mainly aimed at the creation of modern physics teaching connected to the production spheres.
