Biotechnology

The Faculty of Biotechnology was established in 2019 in line with the development of modern science and technology. The main goal of the faculty is to train competitive, skilled professionals in the field of modern biotechnology by integrating the fields of biology, biotechnology, and agriculture. Additionally, the faculty aims to develop scientific research activities, implement innovative projects, and work in close collaboration with industry.

Currently, the faculty has 2 departments. Each department conducts educational, scientific, and practical work in its respective field. Through these departments, students not only gain theoretical knowledge but also have the opportunity to strengthen their skills through laboratory and industrial practices.

The Faculty of Biotechnology is based on providing quality education through modern laboratories, highly qualified professors, and international collaborations. The faculty’s activities focus on various fields such as biology, biotechnology, food safety, and different sectors of agriculture.

Our Main Goals:

To train highly skilled professionals by providing students with deep theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

To develop fundamental and applied research, and implement innovative projects.

To expand local and international scientific collaborations.

To promote projects in various fields of biotechnology (food, biology, agriculture, etc.) that meet the needs of society.

Our Values:

Innovative Thinking – continuous exploration and striving for innovation.

Quality Education – dedication to providing modern and practical knowledge.

Scientific Integrity – adherence to ethical standards in all scientific and educational processes.
