The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Uzbekistan Visited the University

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Gideon Lustig, paid an official visit to Namangan State University.

Within the framework of the visit, an official meeting was held with the participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the State of Israel to the Republic of Uzbekistan, Mr. Gideon Lustig, and the Rector of Namangan State University, Abdugaffor Qirgʻizboyev.

During the meeting, Abdugaffor Qirgʻizboyev provided detailed information on the modern educational environment created at the university, the opportunities available for professors, instructors, and students, the conditions established for scientific research activities, as well as the large-scale reforms being implemented in the country aimed at the development of the education system.

In turn, the Ambassador, Mr. Gideon Lustig, highly appreciated the infrastructure created at Namangan State University, including spacious and well-lit classrooms, modern educational and laboratory facilities, and the favorable learning environment. Ambassador Gideon Lustig acknowledged the significant attention being paid in Uzbekistan to providing young people with access to education and opportunities to engage in scientific activities.

During the visit, Mr. Gideon Lustig familiarized himself closely with the modern laboratory facilities of Namangan State University. The Ambassador held discussions with researchers conducting scientific research in the laboratories and expressed keen interest in the ongoing scientific projects.

In addition, within the framework of the visit, Mr. Gideon Lustig delivered a lecture for the students of Namangan State University on Uzbekistan–Israel cooperation, scientific and innovative developments, and modern educational programs.
