Delegation led by Abdugaffor Kyrgyzbaev held meetings with heads of higher education institutions in Baku

As part of the official visit of the delegation of Namangan State University led by Rector Abdugaffor Kyrgyzbaev to the capital of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku, a series of important meetings were held with the heads of several prestigious higher education institutions.

In particular, the delegation held official meetings with the Rector of Baku Slavic University Anar Naghiyev, the Rector of Ardahan University of Türkiye Öztürk Emiroğlu, the Rector of the Azerbaijan National Conservatory Kamilə Dadaşzada, and the Rector of the Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University Jafar Jafarov.

During the meetings, Abdugaffor Kyrgyzbaev provided detailed information on the current activities of Namangan State University, ongoing large-scale reforms, updates in the educational process, as well as priority directions aimed at enhancing scientific potential.

The parties also exchanged views on establishing joint educational programs between higher education institutions, implementing a multilingual education model, developing research activities, and further expanding international cooperation.

During the discussions, the rectors paid special attention to sharing best practices in higher education, expanding academic mobility programs, organizing exchange of faculty members and students, as well as implementing promising joint scientific and educational projects.

It was emphasized that this meeting serves as an important step towards elevating bilateral cooperation between higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan to a new level, strengthening international ties, and further improving the quality of education.
