Dean of the faculty of Biotechnology

The Faculty of Biotechnology was established in 2019, and it is currently managed by Sh. Atakhonov. At the time of its establishment, about students have been studying in the specialties "Biology", "Zo-engineering (fishery)" and "Medicinal plant cultivation and processing technology". The Department of Biotechnology was established in the newly established faculty, and qualified personnel from prestigious higher education institutions of our republic were invited to increase its scientific and pedagogical potential. In the initial period (2019-2020), M.X.Egamberdiev came to the department of associate professor. L. Mamajanov (2020), currently (from 2021) RA Akramboyev is the head of the department. In 2020, the department of biology headed by A.M.Batoshov who joined the faculty. (2020-2022), Ismatov AV (2022), Komilov DA (2022 to date). Currently, the number of students is ___.

3 doctors of science (DSc), 22 candidates of science and PhD, associate professors, 21 senior teachers, teachers and intern-pedagogues are engaged in scientific-pedagogical activities at the faculty. The scientific potential of the faculty is 54 percent.

The new directions of the management are being opened in our faculty. The course, increasing attention to modern professions and the flow of applicants to Namangan State University. Currently, the faculty has the following directions:

Educational laboratories were equipped with modern educational equipment at the faculty provide services to students in the fields of education. Also, in 2019, an educational buildings for students and scientific staffs were built in Yangikurgan district of the faculty. That faculty organizes professional internships for students of biology, agronomy, technology of cultivation and processing of medicinal plants and other specialties.
