The Faculty of Economics was established on the basis of the socio-economic faculty according to the order of the rector of NamDU in 2020. 

Since the establishment of the faculty, he has been awarded the f.m.f.n, Associate Professor T.Abdullayev, doctor of philosophy in Economics (PhD) R.The imamovs were in charge.

Currently, the faculty is headed by the candidate of Economic Sciences, Associate Professor Narzullayev Nazimjon Sobirjanovich.

Undergraduate education and graduate specialties at the Faculty of Economics:

• 60411700- Logistics (destinations);

• 60412200- Management in finance;

• 61010400- Tourism (by career);

• 61010100- Organization and management of the hotel business;

• 70310102- Economy (by sectors and sectors).

The faculty has 34 academic groups with 733 undergraduate students. The Faculty of economics consists of 2 departments, which are the Department of green economics and sustainable business (16 professors), the Department of Management (13 professors).

The Faculty of Economics has 30 faculty members in the main state. Of these,  3 are candidates of science, associate professors, 6 are PhD, the rest 21 are senior teachers and teachers.

In 2022-2023, Faculty of Economics published 42 scientific articles in OAK journals and 52 in overseas journals.

Academic exchange contacts have been established with leading Osms of professors and students of the Faculty of Economics.
