Head of the department of management

The Department of Management is an integral part of the structure of the Faculty of Economics and carries out educational, methodological, research work in 5 areas of bachelor's and master's degrees, as well as training scientific and pedagogical personnel, as well as organizational, spiritual, educational and educational work.

The Department of Management was established on the basis of the decision of the Council of Namangan State University No. 10 dated July 13, 2022 and the agreement of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated September 2, 2022.

Department 60310400 – Economic security, 60411200 – Management (by direction and branches), 60411300 – Business management (by branches), 61010100 – Organization and management of the hotel industry, 61010400 – Tourism (by areas of activity) prepare bachelors in educational areas and masters in the specialty 71010101- Organization and management of the hotel business.

Currently, the department employs 1 Doctor of Sciences (DSc), 5 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) and candidates of Sciences, 2 senior teachers, 4 teachers. The scientific potential of the professors working at the department is 50 percent.

The department conducts comprehensive scientific research on the topic "Improvement of organizational and methodological mechanisms for managing the competitiveness of sectors of the national economy." The following topics and tasks have been identified as priority areas of research activities of the Department of Management:

Improving the methodology of risk management in economic activity

Improving the mechanisms of ecotourism development in the Ferghana Valley

Improving the mechanism for the development of private entrepreneurship in the field of tourism

The development of historical and cultural tourism in the context of digitalization of the economy

Improvement of the institutional system for increasing incomes of the population

Improvement of the financial support system of the social sphere

Pedagogical technologies for the development of financial literacy of students of higher education institutions

Innovative technological methods of teaching the discipline "Accounting" to economics students.

43 most talented students in the field of science, education, intellectual knowledge, creativity and sports were selected from students studying in the following areas: organization and management of the hotel industry, tourism (by type and area of activity), management (by direction and industry), business management, Economic security, studying at the Department of Management They are also active members of the "school of young scientists".

The department has carried out systematic work on the implementation of the system in practice “Ustoz-shogird” and securing talented students for the teaching staff. In particular, based on the system “Ustoz-shogird” talented students were attached to the teaching staff in the relevant specialty. The department regularly monitors the situation with gifted students at meetings. There is a “young manager” club consisting of gifted students.

The department carries out fruitful work of the teaching staff on the organization of research activities of gifted students, preparing them for the award of scholarships of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and state scholarships, as well as ensuring their active participation in international, republican and university conferences, subject Olympiads and various competitions.

In particular, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated February 14, 2022 No. 52, the winner of the 2021/2022 academic year competition for the Navoi state scholarship established for the bachelor's degree of the Republic of Uzbekistan was a 4th-year student of the direction "organization and management of the hotel industry" Irisboev Shokhrukhbek Nurmukhammad oglu recognized as worthy, Also, in accordance with the order of the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated December 19, 2022 No. 413, Akhmadzhanova Mukhtasar Anvarovna, a student of the 4th stage of tourism education (by field of activity), was recognized as the holder of the Navoi state scholarship for bachelors of the Republic of Uzbekistan for the 2022/2023 academic year.

In accordance with the long-term plan for the training of scientific and pedagogical personnel at the Department of Management, 8 professors and teachers conduct research work to obtain 4 doctoral and 4 doctoral degrees.

The teaching staff of the department has published 2 textbooks, 5 textbooks, 10 monographs, more than 200 articles and abstracts in international and national scientific journals and at scientific and practical conferences.

The Department has established fruitful partnerships with higher educational institutions of the republic and abroad in educational, methodological, research and experience exchange. In particular, Tashkent State University of Economics, Samarkand State University, Andijan State University, Ferghana State University, as well as the South Korean universities Keimyung, Yeungnam and Inha Universities included in the list of the 1000 best universities in the world, as well as the Turkish State University Necmettin Erbakan, are carrying out fruitful cooperation.

During the work of the department, more than 100 students have completed courses in the organization and management of the hotel industry, tourism (by field of activity), work in various fields and sectors of the national economy, and study for a master's degree.
