History of the Department of Vocational Education

The "Department of Vocational Education" department was founded in 1958 under the name "Fundamentals of Production" on the basis of the "Physics" department. From 1968 to 1981, the department was run by senior teacher O. Eshonov, from 1982 to 1984, candidate of sciences in physics and mathematics, associate professor G. Khusanov, from 1984 to 1986 again, professor O. Eshonov, from 1986 to 1989, associate professor G.M. Tubayev, professor A.Rahimov in 1990-1993, associate professor T.I.Umaraliev in 1993-1997, candidate of pedagogical sciences in 1997-2005, associate professor S.Kh Abdullayev, associate professor T.I.Umaraliev since 2005, associate professor I.T.Ulukhanov in 2006-2015 Associate Professor H. Akramov, from January 2017 to October 2018, Associate Professor I. T. Ulukhanov, from 2018 to 2020, A. Matkarimov. In 2020, the department was divided into two, the Department of Technological Education was headed by Associate Professor H. Akramov and the Department of Life Safety by Associate Professor A. Nabiyev. By 2023, the departments were reunited at the beginning of the academic year. Vocational education department was reorganized. Since 2023, Associate Professor A. Nabiyev has been the head of the Department of Vocational Education.

Today's day of the Department of Vocational Education

Today, 9 professors and teachers are working in the "Vocational Education" department. Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences (ScD), Associate Professor S.Kh Abdullayev, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences Professor H.M. Akramov, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences Associate Professor I.T. Ulukhanov, Doctor of Philosophy in Technical Sciences (PhD), Associate Professor A.B. Nabiyev, Senior teachers: A.S. Sayfitdinov, J.R. Muhitdinova, M.A. Ibrohimov, Teachers: J.M. Nasriddinov, A.O. Nuraliyev, Head of Cabinet: M.A. Kokhorova, Master of Production Education: A.V. Abdullayev, S.I. Imodova are working. Currently in the possession of the department 61020100 – Life activity safety,  60112400 – Professional education (60720700 – texnologik machinery and equipment), 60112300 – Technological education Bachelor's degree specialists are being trained.

Cooperation relations of the department

About the international cooperation of professors and teachers of the department: participated in the international project funded by the German government called "Development of intercultural communication through folk crafts and national embroidery" for 2015-2016. He participated in the international project funded by the German government under the leadership of professor Irina Hundt entitled "Aesthetic, marketing and economic aspects of the art of embroidery and flat style design" for 2017-2019. The department currently cooperates with the following enterprises and organizations:

3. Ministry of poverty alleviation and employment of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Monocenter of Namangan region

4. Technical schools of Namangan region

5. Department of public education of Namangan region

6. Territorial Barkamol Avlod children's school

Over the past years, professors and teachers of the department have been paying special attention to individual work with talented students with research potential. The department has published more than 10 training manuals and textbooks and 4 monographs, more than 40 articles have been published in foreign journals.. 

Scientific research works of the department

Professors-teachers of the department are conducting scientific research in the following directions:

1. Modern methods of organizing and managing the educational process.

2. The place of safety of vital activities in the educational process.

3. Issues of development of professional skills in the areas of life safety education

4. They are conducting scientific research on the effectiveness of cooperation of economic sectors and sectors in improving the quality of specialist training.

The scientific expertise of the department is 44.5%.
